UB faculty and staff can leave their worries behind on April 27 when they attend this year’s Stress Less Retreat presented by UB’s Employee Assistance Program.

The free retreat, which will take place in the Center for Tomorrow, North Campus, will feature morning and afternoon sessions led by various experts in stress reduction techniques.

Topics to be addressed during the morning session include “Stress Management: Understanding, Self-Awareness, Empowerment,” “Reduce Stress with Meditation” and “Coping Techniques: Walk and Progressive Muscle Relaxation.”

The afternoon session will focus on “Stress and the Art of Resiliency” and “Using Mindfulness to Minimize Stress.”

A free healthy lunch will be available between the two sessions for those who register.

More information and registration is available online.

The event is sponsored by MetLife.
