IAMT sessions to be held

UB’s Employee Assistance Program is offering two free workshops on Integrated Amrita Meditation Technique (IAMT) to UB faculty and staff, retirees and their families.

The relaxation technique, which will be taught by Bharat Jayaraman, professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, can be practiced in 20 minutes and helps participants reduce stress through simple yoga postures, breathing, visualization and sound.

Sessions will be held from 9-11 a.m. April 5 in 105 Harriman Hall, South Campus, and from 9-11 a.m. April 12 in 107 Capen Hall, North Campus.

A one-hour refresher course will be held after each of these sessions, beginning at 11 a.m.
