Employees Campaign for the Community
The UB Employees Campaign for the Community enjoys a longstanding tradition of excellence. Begun in 1976 as the State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA), it provides the means for all employees of the university to make a meaningful contribution to the university’s commitment to service. The Campaign reflects UB’s engagement with its communities and the neighbors whom we live with and serve.
The 2011 Employees Campaign for the Community begins September 26th. Employees are asked to make their donations before the end of November.
For the 2011 Campaign employees with either receive a postcard with instructions on how to make a gift online or a paper packet containing pledge form, reply envelope and Directory of Services.
How to Make a Gift to the Campaign Online
To make a gift to the Campaign online, click on the button below:
- Log information is as follows
- User ID: Your User ID is your full UBIT email address i.e VictorEBull@buffalo.edu
- Password: For security, all passwords have been reset this year. Enter your UBIT email in the User ID box and click 'Get Password' to have one randomly generated for you. You will be prompted to change it to your own password once you log in. This will not change any of your UB log in credentials.
- To make a gift click Pledge Now on the left.
- You can also see your Giving History and update your Profile Info once you log in.

How to Make a Gift to the Campaign via Paper Pledge Form
- Make sure your information on the top right of the form is correct
- Make your gift decision
- Select organization to receive your designated gift
- Return your signed form in the envelope provided
If you wish to make your gift via paper pledge form and did not receive one, you can request a paper packet from you staff liaison or from Jessica Wangelin at jbiegaj@buffalo.edu or 829-6145. Please provide your name, campus mailing address and phone and a paper gift packet will be sent to you.

New in 2011 Employee Raffle for Prizes
Every two weeks we will conduct a raffle to encourage employee response (a gift or a declination). Only those individuals who have responded to the campaign are eligible to win and the earlier you respond, the more chances you have to win!
For the first raffle, only those who have responded to date can win. For the second two week raffle, employees who responded in the first two weeks would have 2 chances to win, while those who responded in the second two weeks would have only one chance. The pattern will continue through the fourth and fifth two week cycle of the campaign.

Winners will be posted here and prizes will be presented by chair/ co-chair/ area liaison/ Steering Committee member at winner’s work site.
EMPLOYEE FOOTBALL TICKET OFFER
As a token of appreciation for your participation in the Campaign, receive two complimentary tickets to the Bulls football game Saturday, Oct. 8 vs. Ohio at 3:30 p.m. at UB Stadium.
Employees should bring their completed form in a sealed envelope or their online receipt to the Alumni Arena Ticket Office or to the UB Stadium Box Office on game day. Additional tickets can be purchased for $10.00 and seating is based on availability.
