About the HRTEM Facility

The High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HRTEM) Facility is associated with UB’s New York State Center of Excellence in Materials Informatics (CMI). It is a shared facility for microanalysis in materials research, and home to the University’s JEOL JEM 2010 High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscope. The facility provides microanalysis services, training in electron microscopy techniques, and equipment and accessories for sample preparation.
