If you're in need of clean space or specialized equipment, processing, or analysis for your high-tech project, UB’s Science and Engineering Equipment and Instrumentation Portal (EQUIP) of Shared Facilities provides you with access to precision laboratories, tools and equipment for electronic device development, and the study and analysis of materials.

Our goal

UB's Science and Engineering Equipment and Instrumentation Portal (EQUIP) of Shared Facilities aims to advance the scope and quality of the equipment and instrumentation available for leading edge research at UB, consolidate equipment investments within these facilities, and equip the labs with qualified technical support for training, operations and maintenance.

Facilities enhance the student educational experience, create a climate for interdisciplinary studies, and stir mutually-beneficial collaborations with the public and private sectors to advance economic opportunities in the Buffalo Niagara region and New York State.
