- The President's Advisory Council on Race shared their preliminary recommendations with President Tripathi and Provost Weber
July 2020
The President's Advisory Council on Race endorsed:
- removing Millard Fillmore's name from the academic center located in the Ellicott Complex
- renaming Putnam Way "Mary Talbert Way" in honor of the civil rights pioneer who dedicated herself to improving the lives and status of African Americans and women
