Each annual Signature Series program features an array of artistic and educational programming that celebrates UB's groundbreaking achievements and impact in arts and letters.
UB alumnus (BA '73) and Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist Tom Toles will be joined on stage by Bruce Jackson, SUNY Distinguished Professor of English and James Agee Professor of American Culture, for a candid and in-depth dialogue about political commentary, journalism, and Toles' distinguished career.
Opening April 14, an exhibit of Toles' work - from his time at the UB Spectrum to a group of his hand-picked favorites from the Washington Post in 2015 and 2016- will be on display in the Kaveeshwar Gallery through the end of the academic year.
A panel discussion with acclaimed political cartoonist Tom Toles led by Andy Stott, Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Education, and featuring UB faculty and students.
Toles will meet with small groups of faculty, staff and students for informal conversation.
