Professor Okorafor will give remarks and present a book reading before being joined on stage for a conversation with Bruce Jackson, SUNY Distinguished Professor of English and James Agee Professor of American Culture at UB.

Screening of Short Film: "Pumzi"

250 Baird Hall, North Campus

A 20 minute screening of the short film "Pumzi" will be followed by an open discussion. "Pumzi" is a science-fiction short film from Kenya written and directed by Wanuri Kahiu and was screened at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival as part of its New African Cinema program.
