Good morning!
Thank you for joining us to celebrate the groundbreaking for UB’s Brittany Murchie Mulla Sports Performance Center!
I would like to begin by welcoming and acknowledging our center’s name-sake—Brittany Murchie Mulla—and all the members of the Murchie family.
Many thanks to Brittany, Tunney, and the entire Murchie family for your loyal support of UB Athletics and our university community.
Today, as we break ground on the future home of the Brittany Murchie Mulla Sports Performance Center, we look forward to the opportunities it will create for UB’s student-athletes.
This center represents a significant enhancement to our athletic facilities—and, therefore, the overall experience of our student-athletes. When completed, it will create a second-to-none facility so our student-athletes are prepared to compete successfully at a national level in their respective sports.
At UB, we have been intentionally cultivating a nationally competitive athletics program. The Brittany Murchie
Mulla Sports Performance Center builds on our successes in this regard—and positions us for even greater success.
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to our dedicated coaches and support staff, who play an instrumental role in our student-athletes’ lives. Every day, they inspire our student-athletes to make the most of their skills and talents—in athletic competition, in the classroom, and in the community.
I know that, like all of us, they are excited to see the positive impact that the Brittany Murchie Mulla Sports Performance Center will have on our athletics program.
