One of NeMLA’s core missions is to help professionalize our junior scholars on various aspects of the profession, including teaching, publishing, and the job search. We do everything in our power to give graduate students and early-career professionals the necessary resources to promote their careers and to foster collaborations with mentors that often extend beyond the convention. We offer these services in a range of formats from workships and a Job Clinic that take place at the convention to extended mentoring programs that last throughout the year.
