UB and the Division of Athletics will honor the men’s and women’s basketball teams for their outstanding 2015-16 seasons at a rally at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Student Union lobby.

The rally is free and open to the public. Fans are encouraged to wear blue and white.

President Satish Tripathi will congratulate coaches and players from both teams. The students behind UB’s cowbell chant and cheerleaders will be on hand to celebrate the Bulls. Paul Peck, voice of the Bulls, will emcee.

Those unable to attend can watch a live stream of the rally. 

The UB men’s team earned its second straight trip to the NCAA tournament after winning its second Mid-American Conference title; the UB women made their inaugural appearance in the NCAA tournament, also after winning the MAC championship.
