Park Hall


Julian Park Hall was built as a social sciences building and currently houses a number of College of Arts and Sciences departments, research labs, and classrooms.

Namesake


Julian Park Julian Park (1885-1965) was the first dean of Arts and Sciences (1919-54) and served as the university's first historian. Park was the son of Dr. Roswell Park, the namesake for the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, an internationally known cancer research facility in downtown Buffalo.
