Lehman Hall
Part of the Governors Complex Residence Halls, Lehman Hall provides student housing.
Namesake
Herbert H. Lehman (1878-1963) was Governor of New York State from 1933 to 1942. He dedicated his life to public service, both through his work in government and in charities. He received the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously in 1963: "Citizen and statesman, he has used wisdom and compassion as the tools of government and has made politics the highest form of public service."
