Bissell Hall

Bissell Hall is the headquarters of University Police. In addition to providing a safe, friendly and welcoming environment in which students, visitors, faculty and staff can live, learn, work and play, UB's police officers provide mutual-aid assistance in the community in times of emergency.

Namesake

Wilson S. Bissell Wilson S. Bissell (1847-1903) was chancellor of the University of Buffalo from 1902 to 1903. He was also a former U.S. Postmaster General appointed by President Cleveland.
