Baldy Hall


Christopher Baldy Hall is the home of the Graduate School of Education and the School of Social Work. A lunch/vending area is conveniently located on the second-level corridor—the perfect place for group-meetings, people watching, and studying. It is also a Wi-Fi hotspot. Namesake


Christopher Baldy Christopher Baldy (1885-1959) was a Buffalo native who graduated from the law school in 1910. During his long and successful career he was an active member of the Alumni Association, and a member of the University Council from 1950 to 1959. With a $1.5-million-gift to the university, Baldy became a major UB benefactor.
