Russell Cicerone became the first Bull drafted in the Major League Soccer SuperDraft when the Portland Timbers selected him as the 10th pick in the fourth round.
Former UB linebacker and current NFL quarterback nightmare Khalil Mack was named Defensive Player of the Year by the Pro Football Writers of America. Mack logged 11 sacks, 73 tackles and five forced fumbles in aiding the Oakland Raiders to their first playoff berth since 2002.
