UB spends more than $349.4 million annually on research, seeking
knowledge that leads to new cures, improved processes, stronger
materials, faster computers, smarter software, smaller machines and
thousands of other improvements.

UB is first in the nation among comprehensive public research
universities in terms of percentage of enrollment that is
international. Nearly 11 percent of UB students study
