"Joseph Norman: Berlin Autumn"

Work by painter Joseph Norman is on display through Oct. 28 in the Anderson Gallery, Martha Jackson Place, Buffalo. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday.

"Fresh not Pickled: UB Art Foundations"

Work produced in the "foundations" courses—the basic art courses that all art majors take in their freshman year— conveys the students at the most absorbent and wide-eyed point in their academic life. A selection of work in diverse media reflecting the aspirations of these students is on display through Oct. 25 in the Art Department Gallery, B45 Center for the Arts, North Campus. The opening reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. today. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
