UB researchers travel to ground
at how earthquake engineering can help buildings withstand attacks
the aftermath of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, structural
engineers are grappling with a question that a month ago would have been
completely unthinkable: Can buildings be designed to withstand catastrophic
blasts inflicted by terrorists?
Genco to lead tech transfer
is bolstering its efforts in the areas of technology transfer and economic
development with the creation of a new Office of Science, Technology Transfer
and Economic Outreach.
