Patrons thanked for donating to tree-planting fund

To the Editor,

This semester, Psi Chi, the national honor society in psychology at UB, asked for donations from our community to purchase and plant trees on the North Campus. The members of Psi Chi would like to acknowledge and thank the following patrons: Brenda Battleson, Mary Bisson, Hank Bromley, Lynn Magdol-Hewlett, John Meacham, Kirsten and Lester Milbrath, Sharon Murphy, Diane Randall, the Student Association, the Undergraduate Psychology Association, the Department of Psychology and the Office of the President.

Also, a special thank you for the help and advice of Bill Marshall, grounds supervisor.

The Tree Planting Project has culminated with 15 new beautiful trees on North Campus, beside Park Hall.

Thanks for the aesthetic contribution to our campus and for helping combat environmental degradation.
