  • Music to hold Brown Bag Concerts

The Department of Music’s first Brown Bag Concerts of the academic year will take place at noon on Oct. 2 on the stage of Lippes Concert Hall in Slee Hall, North Campus, and at noon on Oct. 4 in the Emeritus Center, 102 Goodyear Hall, South Campus.

While the program for the free concerts is still being finalized, Concert Manager Phil Rehard promises “a unique twist” at the North Campus concert.

Now in its 14th season, the Brown Bag Concert Series offers an informal way to enjoy performances featuring Department of Music faculty and students. Patrons are encouraged to bring their lunch. Each attendee will receive a voucher redeemable for a pair of complimentary tickets to a more formal concert within the following month.

Brown Bag Concerts will be held on the North Campus only in November, December, February, March and April.
