  • Join PSS for Bulls homecoming game

    The Professional Staff Senate, in partnership with the Division of Athletics, is offering discount football tickets and a tailgate party for all professional staff members and their families attending the UB Bulls homecoming game vs. UConn on Sept. 24.

    PSS has reserved a section of premium seats for $10 per ticket. Children under 5 are free.

    Tailgating will begin at 3 p.m. in the PSS tent, which will be located in the Slee B lot, the faculty/staff parking lot facing Slee Hall and the Buffalo statue in front of the Center for the Arts, North Campus. PSS will supply the hot dogs; participants are asked to bring a dish to pass, along with their favorite beverages. 

    To order tickets, fill out the form and fax it to Katy Ryan at 645-3754; forms also can be mailed to Ryan at the UB Ticket Office, 188a Alumni Arena, North Campus.

    Season ticket holders who wish to participate in this offer can swap their tickets for a PSS group ticket and sit with the PSS group. Contact Ryan about this option.

  • Fitness training offered

    Faculty and staff who are looking to get in shape can participate in Adult Fitness Training at UB.

    Sessions are held at 8:30 a.m. and noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the student weight room in Alumni Arena, North Campus.

    Cost is $175 for a month of unlimited sessions or $20 per session. Those interested in participating may take part in a free trial session.

    The programs consists of a one-hour, fat-burning, muscle-toning workout, and nutritional consultation and information focusing on participants’ individual needs and proper eating habits.
