  • Meditation workshops set

    The Employee Assistance Program is offering workshops on Integrated Amrita Meditation Technique (IAMT) to UB faculty and staff who work on the North and South campuses.

    The relaxation technique, which will be taught by Bharat Jayaraman, professor and chair of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, helps participants reduce stress through simple yoga postures, breathing, visualization and sound.

    The sessions will be held on June 20 in 145B Student Union, North Campus, and on July 26 in 105 Harriman Hall, South Campus. Both sessions will take place from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

  • PSS to hold potluck luncheon

    The second annual Professional Staff Senate Summer Potluck will be held at noon on June 29 in the Student Union Courtyard, North Campus.

    In the event of rain, the luncheon will be moved to the Student Union Lobby.

    The PSS will provide hot dogs and hamburgers.

    Those interested in attending should RSVP by June 23 with the name of the dish they are bringing to pssenate@buffalo.edu.
