Ticket offer for UB hoops

Buy-one-get-one-free tickets are available to faculty and staff for Saturday’s “Pink Zone” UB Bulls basketball doubleheader in support of the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.

The first 2,500 fans will receive a free Pink Zone T-shirt.

The UB men take on Kent State at noon; the women play Akron at 3 p.m.

The Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund was established in 2007 to raise money to fund research on women’s cancers. It honors the late Kay Yow, former North Carolina State University head women’s basketball coach and past president and founding member of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. Yow died of breast cancer in 2009.

Participants should meet inside the front entrance of the arena.
