DHIB to host grant-writing workshop

The Digital Humanities Initiative at Buffalo (DHIB) will host a grant-writing workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 1 in 904 Clemens Hall, North Campus.

The workshop, which will include a working lunch from noon to 1 p.m., will be led by Carole Ann Fabian, formerly of UB's Educational Technology Center and now planning, outreach and communications officer for ARTstor. A non-profit initiative founded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. ARTstor’s mission is to use digital technology to enhance scholarship, teaching and learning in the arts and associated fields.

The workshop is designed to offer humanities faculty ideas for external funding sources.

Happy hour set for employee alums

The UB Employee Alumni Chapter will host a networking happy hour at 5 p.m. June 17 in the courtyard of the Center for Tomorrow, North Campus.

UB employees who are UB alumni are encouraged to bring their co-workers and network with other alumni and employees on campus.

Food and beverages will be provided.
