The Intercultural & Diversity Center will acknowledge victims of transgender violence as part of a National Transgender Day of Remembrance program being held Nov. 21 at UB.
UB is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, ethics and principles. A critical component of that commitment, is ensuring that every one of us has the ability, responsibility and opportunity to raise questions or voice concerns about workplace and university issues in a secure and confidential manner.
With the Christmas and New Year’s Day federal holidays falling on Sunday this year, UB will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26, and Monday, Jan. 2, in observance of these holidays.
Have you amassed a collection of old documents and mail that needs to be shredded? Have you recently gotten more buff and now your clothes are too big (or, perhaps, the reverse)? If so, this is the weekend to get rid of all that and more.
UB’s Employee Assistance Program is offering several free workshops and programs this month for faculty and staff. Among the topics are meditation (Nov. 9), opioids in the workplace (Nov. 16) and “self care,” including nutrition, reflexology and aromatherapy (Nov. 30).
UB cyclists who want to keep their bicycles safe from weather and theft during the winter months can store their bicycles for free with Parking and Transportation Services.
