A sensory experience

University Communications photographer Douglas Levere recently dropped in at the Sensory Integration Lab in PT 705: Pediatric Physical Therapy, a course in the Physical Therapy Program in the Department of Rehabilitation Science. Occupational therapy and physical therapy students get hands-on experience by rolling on, swinging on, spinning on, crawling through and crashing into a range of equipment. These activities enable them to help children with sensory, muscle strength and motor issues ultimately have a better experience in school.
