Have you met Congi?

Now’s your chance.

“Coffee with Congi” is an opportunity for the campus community to meet the University Police Department’s friendly, floppy-eared police dog, Congi.

The meet and greet, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 23 at The Landing at Ellicott, is also a chance to learn more about the services and crime-prevention programs offered by UPD.

Trained in tracking and detecting explosives, the German shorthaired pointer has become a popular fixture on campus since joining the department in the summer of 2023. Alongside his handler, Officer Dale Zulawski, you’ll notice the duo performing security sweeps prior to campus events or responding to reports of suspicious devices.

Stop by The Landing on Monday to meet Congi and get a selfie with UB’s lovable police dog.
