After more than two years of operating under one umbrella, the School of Management’s Center for Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness (CLOE) and the school’s Global Programs Office have formally merged and will be called the Center for Leadership and Global Impact.
Dorothy Siaw-Asamoah, clinical professor of organization and human resources, has led both CLOE and Global Programs throughout this period and will continue in her role as faculty director. The school celebrated the merger on Sept. 26 at the Alfiero Center.
Leveraging a foundation of high-impact scholarship, the center empowers agile leaders who learn locally — wherever they are — and think globally to drive transformative results in an interconnected world.
The event featured remarks from Ananth Iyer, dean of the School of Management; Siaw-Asamoah; Ryan Dunlop, CEO of Conflictish; and Maria Kraimer, chair of the Department of Organization and Human Resources, Donald S. Carmichael Professor of Organizational Behavior and academic director of the Center for Leadership and Global Impact.
Through innovative programming, research and partnerships, the center will continue the school’s legacy of cultivating leadership excellence while expanding its global reach and real-world impact.
