Get road-ready at UB Bike Days

Published September 11, 2025

Keep that bike in top shape for fall riding at UB Bike Days.

Parking and Transportation Services, Campus Living and University Police will have expert bicycle mechanics available on the North, South and Downtown campuses in the coming weeks to provide free chain oiling, brake checks and basic maintenance.

The events will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 17 at The Commons on the North Campus, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Main Circle on the South Campus and from 1-3 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Washington Street side of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences on the Downtown Campus.

Participants are advised that due to demand, bicycles will not be accepted into the queue for service 30 minutes before the end of each event.

Participants can also register their bike to help deter theft, recover their bike if it’s impounded or stolen, and store it for free during the winter.
