University Police will host its third town hall meeting for the UB community at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 12 in 330 Student Union on the North Campus.
The event is the third in a series of forums focusing on public safety issues being held by UB police this summer and fall across all three campuses. Previous sessions were held in June on the South Campus and last month on the Downtown Campus.
These meetings provide University Police with the opportunity to speak directly with the UB community, provide the campus with updates and address any public safety concerns from students, staff and faculty.
The meeting will include a short presentation by UB Chief of Police Kim Beaty and UPD command staff, followed by a question-and-answer period.
Questions can be emailed to Ub-police@buffalo.edu prior to the forum to allow presenters to prepare accordingly. Please put “UPD 8/12 Town Hall Question” in the subject line.
UB police also are planning town hall meetings for all three campuses in the fall.
