‘Blue out’ game vs. Saint Francis on Sept. 6

Published August 29, 2025

The UB community is invited to wear blue and show their True Blue pride at the Bulls’ home game vs. Saint Francis on Sept. 6.

Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.

UB faculty and staff can purchase tickets for the special price of $10 per ticket, plus a processing fee. Undergraduate students can obtain their free tickets directly through Ticketmaster by selecting the game date.

The first 1,000 students can pick up free True Blue T-shirts at the Student Lounge, located on the concourse near section 222.

Students can also set a record by participating in the “True Blue Dash” — a 100-yard run across the field before the game — which could be the university’s largest in school history. Those wishing to join in should meet under the scoreboard at 3 p.m.

All fans are invited to enjoy pre-game activities at the Coca-Cola Fan Zone inside the Murchie Family Fieldhouse from 2-3:15 p.m. Attendees will be able to create their own snow cone on a human-powered snow cone machine, ride a mechanical bull, meet the Buffalo Bandits and take a picture with the NLL Championship trophy, and take part in lawn games such as inflatable basketball, corn hole, football toss, 40-yard dash and more.

True Blue celebrates the power and the pride of the UB community. The True Blue website serves as a hub for True Blue spirit, showcasing stories, profiles, videos and photos.
