Town hall to update UB community on PACOR progress

Published November 8, 2022

Members of the UB community can learn about the progress being made to advance diversity, equity, inclusion and justice at the university at a virtual town hall on Nov. 15.

The town hall, the first annual meeting in which the campus community will be updated on the university’s progress in implementing the recommendations of the President’s Advisory Council on Race (PACOR), will begin at 1 p.m. via Zoom.

UB senior leaders, who have been charged by Provost A. Scott Weber with implementing the PACOR recommendations, will provide a progress report on their efforts and discuss the status of the recommendations.

The implementation progress reports can be viewed on the Office of the Provost's website.

President Satish K. Tripathi established PACOR in June 2020 to help guide the university in realizing its ideals of equity, diversity, inclusion and social justice, and to ensure UB is equitable in its policies, programs, activities and traditions.
