PSS reactivating networking group

As UB employees return to campus for the fall semester, the Professional Staff Senate is reactivating its Lunch Bunch Club networking program.

To encourage participation for the fall semester, the first 50 professional staff members who sign up will receive a $5 gift certificate for on-campus restaurants.

The Lunch Bunch Club matches three staff members from different offices or departments. The trio chooses a date and time to meet for informal conversation.

“Talk about your job, how you are dealing with the transition back to work, or just take the opportunity to learn about another office or department,” says Becky Burke, chair of the Social and Networking Subcommittee of the PSS’ Staff Development and Engagement Committee. “Now, more than ever, we need connection, support and engagement,” Burke says.

Participants are welcome to continue to meet with their “lunch bunch” after their initial meeting or be matched with two other staff members in the future.

To sign up for the new round of the Lunch Bunch Club, fill out this online form. Those with questions can contact Burke.
