Public forums set for finalists in pharmacy dean search

Three finalists in the search for a new dean of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences have been identified, and open forums with the members of the UB community will take place next week via Zoom.

The Zoom webinars will be held from 1-1:50 p.m. on each of the following dates:

The names and CVs of the finalists will be available at 9 a.m. on April 30 on the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences’ dean search website. Members of the UB community will need to log in with their UBIT name and password to gain access to the names and CVs of the candidates.

Confidential surveys will be available on the search website to gather feedback on each candidate. All feedback must be submitted by 5 p.m. on May 7.

For those unable to attend, a recording of each forum will be posted on the search website until 5 p.m. on May 7.

The search is seeking a successor to James M. O’Donnell, who is stepping down at the end of the academic year after seven years as dean to return to his UB faculty role as professor of pharmaceutical sciences, and pharmacology and toxicology.
