Panel discussion to offer perspectives on racism

A virtual panel discussion in which UB experts share their perspectives on racism and offer ways to move forward within a safe and supportive environment will take place on March 3 via Zoom.

“Perspectives: Racism Panel Discussion,” presented by the Professional Staff Senate’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee and the Minority Faculty and Staff Association, will begin at 1 p.m. Those who register in advance will receive a confirmation email with information about how to join the meeting.

Serving on the panel are Raechele Pope, associate dean of faculty and student affairs and chief diversity officer in the Graduate School of Education; Sharon Kirkland-Gordon, a psychologist with Counseling Services, and Danielle Johnson, senior adviser and coordinator of the Daniel Acker Scholars Program.
