With more than 3,000 prospective students and their families expected to visit UB on Oct. 19 during UB 360°, the university’s fall open house, the Office of the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management is looking for UB employees to help ensure a successful event.
Volunteers are needed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. to assist with tasks including greeting students and their families, and offering directional assistance.
Anyone interested in helping at open house should complete this form by Oct. 11.
Lee Melvin, vice provost for enrollment management, notes that campus visits like this one are extremely influential in a student’s college search process. He asks that UB faculty and staff showcase their UB pride by wearing blue and white on Friday, Oct. 18.
