Free chair yoga classes offered

Wellness & Work/Life Balance, in partnership with Recreation and Intramural Services, is offering free chair yoga classes during the fall semester.

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting in a chair or standing on the ground while using a chair for support. It’s beneficial for people with limited mobility and for those who want to practice yoga in their workplaces.

The schedule for classes, all of which will take place from noon to 1 p.m.:

  • Oct. 11: 443 Pharmacy Building, South Campus.
  • Nov. 15: 107 Capen Hall, North Campus.
  • Nov. 22: 443 Pharmacy Building.
  • Dec. 13: 280 Park Hall, North Campus.
