Stage two bridge work by the state Department of Transportation on the I-990 over Chestnut Ridge Road near the UB North Campus may impact travelers beginning Wednesday, June 19.  

Crews will be switching over to the left lanes of the I-990 northbound bridge at Chestnut Ridge. They had been working on the right lanes. Two lanes will be open across all bridges during this next phase of road work, which was originally scheduled to begin on Monday.

One lane will be closed on the I-290 eastbound to the I-990 northbound. The single-lane closure on the I-290 westbound ramp to the I-990 north will be removed. The UB I-990 ramp will remain open.

This round of work is expected to go through the end of July.
