Thinking about doing some spring cleaning? Or in the market for a few bargains?

The Office of Student Engagement is once again hosting a “UB Yard Sale” from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 12 and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 13 in the Student Union lobby.

All proceeds from the cash-only sale will benefit John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital.

Members of the UB community who would like to donate gently used items for the sale can bring them to 145 Student Union between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. April 9-11.

Volunteers will pick up donations from those who can’t make it to the Student Union. Email Rachel DiDomizio to schedule an on-campus pickup during business hours.

Sale organizers are particularly interested in household items, kid’s toys and books, clean clothing, small appliances and electronics, school supplies, un-opened toiletries and cleaning supplies. Organizers also are accepting non-perishable food and toiletries to donate to the Food Bank of WNY.
