UB faculty and staff who have a child or other relative in the final stages of the college-decision process can get some insider tips at a special session that should make navigating the final weeks to the May 1 deposit deadline a bit smoother.

Sessions of “Admitted: Now What? Helping you and your child navigate through the final stages of the college-choice process” will take place from 1:45-3 p.m. March 10 and April 15 in the Buffalo Room, 10 Capen Hall, North Campus. Both free sessions, which are being held during UB 360° Days, are exclusive presentations for UB faculty and staff.

Lee Melvin, vice provost for enrollment management, and John Gottardy, director of financial aid, will talk about topics and concerns that parents and students need to resolve by the May 1 enrollment-deposit date. Melvin and Gottardy also will answer specific questions from attendees.

Those wishing to attend are asked to register online.
