Zuckerberg up next in Distinguished Speakers Series

Randi Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media and former director of marketing at Facebook, will speak at UB on Oct. 26 as part of the university’s Distinguished Speakers Series.

The lecture will take place at 8 p.m. in Alumni Arena, North Campus.

Founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media, a boutique marketing firm and production company, Zuckerberg created and ran the marketing program for Facebook from 2005-11, and is the author of “Dot Complicated,” a New York Times best-seller about her personal journey on the front lines of Facebook and her thoughts on how technology is changing our lives.

The book inspired a weekly business radio show, “Dot Complicated with Randi Zuckerberg,” on SiriusXM. A television host and producer, in 2011, she was nominated for an Emmy Award for her innovative blend of online/TV coverage of the U.S. elections.

Her lecture is sponsored by the centers for Entrepreneurial Leadership and Executive Education.
