UB fans can get a peek at the 2016-17 defending MAC champion men’s and women’s basketball teams on Oct. 14 at the annual Bull Madness event.

They also can get a jump on tickets for games this season at a daylong flash sale.

At the flash sale, which will take place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Alumni Arena, fans can buy general admission and 300-level tickets to any men’s home game for just $10. The first 100 fans who spend $60 or more will receive a T-shirt with the brand new UB spirit mark.

Bulls Madness begins at 7 p.m.; doors open at 6 p.m. Activities include a fan fest area for children, and interactive games and contests in which fans can win prizes.

The event will begin with introductions of the men’s and women’s basketball teams and feature a three-point contest, a skills competition and the fan-favorite slam-dunk contest.

The season gets underway for both teams on Nov. 4 with a doubleheader in Alumni Arena. The women take on Bloomsburg at 6 p.m. and the men host Daemen at 8:30 pm.
