ISSS to hold workshops

The Office of International Student and Scholar Services is holding two workshops for employees who work closely with international students.

“Appointing International Students: Immigration Documents, I-9 Requirements, Etc.” is designed for employees who must interpret immigration documents in order to process appointments and fulfill their job responsibilities. It will be held from 12:30-1:50 p.m. Sept. 22 in 210 Natural Sciences Complex, North Campus.

“Responding to the Needs of International Students: Tips for Staff Members” will help employees understand and interact with international students. It will be held from 3:30-4:45 p.m. Sept. 27 in 210 Natural Sciences Complex, and from noon to 1:15 p.m. Nov. 4 in 214 O’Brian Hall, North Campus.

The workshops are free and open to all UB employees.
