CAI seeking proposals for artists-in-residence

The Creative Arts Institute (CAI) is seeking proposals for its Artist-in Residence Program for 2017-18.

These residencies offer artists and performers the opportunity to create and present new work and interact in a variety of ways with members of the local arts community, including UB faculty, students and Buffalo arts organizations.

Proposals may be submitted directly by artists, and members of the UB and Buffalo arts communities also may propose projects to bring artists and performers to UB.

Residencies can be from as short as a few days to up to four months. All fields of the creative arts may participate, including music, film, plastic arts, visual arts, drama, writing, architecture and so-called emerging disciplines. Both emerging artists and established artists are invited to participate.

The deadline for submitting proposals is Oct. 31.

More information and the proposal form are available on the CAI website.
