The second annual Stress Less Retreat sponsored by UB’s Employee Assistance Program will take place Nov. 19 in the Center for Tomorrow, North Campus.
The retreat is divided into two sessions. The morning session, from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., includes a talk by sleep expert Daniel Rifkin, clinical assistant professor of neurology, on “Sleep Your Stress Away,” as well as a meditation workshop and an appearance by therapy dogs.
The afternoon session, from 1:30-5 p.m., will feature tai chi and yoga classes, and a session on the benefits of aromatherapy.
Participants of both sessions may join their colleagues for a healthy lunch from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
All sessions, including lunch, are free but registration is required.
