“Strengthening your Professional Core,” the annual staff development conference sponsored by the Professional Staff Senate, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 21 at the Holiday Inn, 1881 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst.

The conference, open to all members of the UB professional staff, is designed to help participants improve their professional skills, learn about new professional development tools and provide an opportunity to network with UB colleagues.

The keynote speaker is Barbara Lang, a consultant with more than 35 years’ experience in the hospitality business. She will discuss “Creating a Hospitality Mindset.”

The registration fee is $30 and includes a continental breakfast and buffet lunch.
