“Re-imagining Learning Spaces: Design, Technology and Assessment” is the topic of a webinar being held from noon to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 28-29 in 330 Student Union, North Campus.
The webinar is the ELI Fall Focus Session presented by Educause, a nonprofit association that aims to advance higher education through the use of information technology. It is geared toward faculty, as well as graduate students interested in teaching, and will served as a precursor to February’s Digital Challenges event, “The Classroom: Teaching and Learning in the Future,” sponsored by the UB Libraries and UB Information Technology.
Topics to be discussed at the webinar include learning spaces and how innovative designs can facilitate interaction through the use of collaborative and mobile tools, team-based course models, videoconferencing with remote experts, makerspaces and more.
Participants can attend all or part of each day’s program. Light refreshments will be available.
