The University Community Farmers Market will open for its eighth season on May 17 at a new location in the Townsend parking lot on the South Campus near the intersection of Main Street and Englewood Avenue.

The market, which offers a variety of vendors selling fresh food and local products, will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, rain or shine, through Oct. 18. Attendees can park for free behind the market in the Townsend Parking Lot on campus.
