Development Communications receives 2 CASE awards

The Office of Development Communications received two awards from the CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) District II Accolades Awards Program.Judges reviewed work in 37 categories.

UB’s Circle of Visionaries brochure produced for the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences received a Gold Award in the development/fundraising publications category.

“This brochure encourages targeted prospects to make gifts at the leadership level to the new School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences’ building campaign,” says Ann Brown, senior director of development communications.

The brochure was designed by UB’s Office of University Communications.

In the fundraising/development website category, UB’s Giving website received a Silver Award. The site has received an Accolades Award for three years in a row.

"Since this site launched in 2011, it has evolved into a highly dynamic and engaging overview of philanthropy at UB, with destinations customized for UB schools and programs,” Brown says. “The site also enhances opportunities for online giving.”

Awards will be presented at the annual CASE District II conference being held in February in Baltimore.

CASE is a professional association serving educational institutions and the advancement professionals who work on their behalf in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and allied areas around the world.
